The West Coast Kayak Angler Series was developed in 2019 to promote the sport of Kayak Angling on Vancouver Island and provide a way of growing an active community and introduce others to the sport. Our events are open to all human powered watercraft (kayak, canoe, float tube, row boat, paddleboard, pontoon boat etc) with the goal of encouraging families to participate and to educate about the local fisheries
We host both freshwater and saltwater events through the season and attempt to host events from areas with Provincial or private campgrounds as staging areas for the events. Additionally we have focused on exploring different locations around the Island to promote the vast scenery and fisheries available to us
